SunDrone - Autonomous, Affordable, Attritable

SunDrone is a small business with a big punch. Based at PDK airport in Atlanta, GA, we bring common sense spending and decision making to commercial customers and the US Department of War.

We Prepare the Next Generation

The national debt right now is over $40 Trillion dollars. If you ask us, we think government should be spending money like people spend their own. When you spen it like someone else’s, the debt will grow infinitely. Why are we building autonomous kayaks? Because it scales. They’re inexpensive, and as far as we’ve found it’s the perfect training platform in preparation for real-life missions. We use the same hardware controllers and software systems as they do in aviation. The difference is, when a quad-copter crashes because the battery dies, you go back to ‘Best Buy’ and get another one. When the battery dies on our boat? You just go out and get your boat back, charge it up and go back to war. Nothing lost. Simple enough? Join our team!

Our Mission

Why SunDrone

We believe life is about balance. While we might be building machines that could be used for war, we want to make sure we have fun along the way. Pilots love flying in ‘VFR’ weather – visual flight rules, meaning it’s a sunny day. Also, with a simple solar panel on our kayak, the possibilities become infinite! We provide a platform and a playground for the next generation to practice and learn modern skills required both for defense and in commercial industry. Call or text today, we would love to hear from you.
